We are proud to announce the strengthening of our Dispute Resolution and Restructuring & Insolvency practice groups with the appointment of two new counsel: Tanja Schasfoort (Dispute Resolution) and Dawid Sztandera (Restructuring & Insolvency), effective from 1 January 2025.
Tanja is an experienced commercial dispute resolution lawyer. She advises on and litigates a wide range of international and domestic commercial disputes, with a focus on contractual and tort-law liability, M&A-related disputes, enforcement of court orders, and antitrust litigation. Tanja also has extensive experience with (international) arbitrations under various arbitration rules and arbitration-related court proceedings.

Dawid brings extensive expertise, having spent 12 years at A&O Shearman, where he established a strong reputation as a highly skilled and pragmatic lawyer specialising in financial restructuring and financing. His experience includes advising banks, debt funds, medium and large corporations, (supervisory) directors, sponsors and shareholders on the full spectrum of topics from financial structuring to insolvency. Dawid has been involved in several high-profile international and domestic cases, successfully implementing a range of restructuring strategies in and out of court, including the ‘WHOA’ scheme.
