Stek advised Austrian energy company OMV as legal counsel on the acquisition of a substantial part of the Dutch geothermal project portfolio of Shell. With this transaction, OMV takes over Shell’s position in the projects located in Rotterdam, Capelle and the Rijnland area.

As a result of this acquisition, OMV enters the Dutch geothermal market and takes a further step in the expansion of its energy activities in the Netherlands.
