Stek has advised Eco-Movement and its shareholders on the sale to Dow Jones, part of News Corp.

Eco-Movement, headquartered in Utrecht, is a leading charge point data platform that collects, optimizes, and enriches real-time and dynamic information across public and semi-public EV charging stations in over 80 countries. The platform features nearly 1.9 million connectors and serves navigation apps, businesses, fleet operators, public authorities, and charge point operators.

Through the acquisition, Eco-Movement will become part of OPIS, the energy business unit of Dow Jones. The deal enhances Dow Jones’s capabilities in data and analytics for the energy transition. Eco-Movement’s data will enable smarter decision-making for stakeholders like retailers, utilities, financial institutions, and charging station operators.

The Stek team consisted of Eelco Bijkerk, Elias Ram and Michelle de Vries.
