Stek assists Stedin in transport capacity dispute

Stek successfully represented energy distribution system operator Stedin in summary proceedings before the Rotterdam District Court. Stedin was sued by one of its customers, a large construction company, who demanded that Stedin offer transport capacity on its electricity network. Stedin refused to do so because of congestion on the high-voltage grid of the national transmission system operator TenneT. The preliminary relief judge ruled in favour of Stedin and dismissed the claims.

The judgment has been published and can be accessed via this link (in Dutch).
