Stek successfully represented energy distribution system operator Stedin in summary proceedings before the Rotterdam District Court. The dispute arose against the backdrop of congestion on the high-voltage grid of the national transmission system operator TenneT at the port of Rotterdam. Stedin was sued by one of its customers, a multinational energy commodities trading company, who demanded that Stedin provide detailed information concerning the current and expected use of its electricity network. Stedin refused to do so because the relevant data concerning the network congestion had already been provided and published. The preliminary relief judge ruled in favour of Stedin and dismissed the claims.

The judgement has been published and can be accessed via this link (in Dutch).
