Stek has advised Etex on the acquisition of Drumarkon, a Dutch fire protection marine panels specialist.

Etex, a global leader in lightweight construction solutions headquartered in Belgium, has acquired Drumarkon based in Schelluinen, the Netherlands.

Drumarkon is active in the production and supply of high-quality fire protection panels for the shipbuilding and yacht construction markets.

This deal strengthens the ability of Etex and its Promat technology platform to provide customers with full solutions in the marine market for shipyards, interior outfitters, and marine operators worldwide. These solutions include panels for fire protection, noise absorption, vibration damping, and thermal insulation.
