Stek has advised the shareholders of A.Hak, a leading Dutch specialist in underground infrastructure, on its sale to Royal BAM Group N.V. (BAM) at an enterprise value of EUR 504 million.

A.Hak has over 60 years of experience in developing and constructing critical underground infrastructure for electricity, water, gas and heat networks. The company specialises in energy and water transmission pipelines, cable infrastructure and trenchless techniques. With approximately 900 employees, A.Hak operates primarily in the Netherlands, as well as in Belgium and the United Kingdom.

The transaction brings together A.Hak’s expertise in energy and water transmission infrastructure and trenchless techniques with BAM’s existing activities in energy distribution. The acquisition represents a significant transaction in the Dutch infrastructure sector, against the backdrop of increasing investment in energy and water networks.

Completion of the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.
