Barbara is a lawyer in our Dispute Resolution practice group. She has a broad litigation and advisory practice, with a focus on corporate dispute resolution. Barbara advises and litigates on diverse topics, including shareholder disputes, directors’ and supervisory directors’ liability, governance matters and post-M&A proceedings, and regularly appears before the Enterprise Chamber of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal.

Barbara combines legal precision with a sense for interpersonal dynamics and a keen eye for the bigger picture. This approach enables her to guide clients towards solutions that fit the business and the specific situation it is facing.

Barbara regularly publishes in various legal books and journals and is a member of several professional associations, including the Corporate Litigation Association (Vereniging Corporate Litigation) and the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA). Barbara completed the Grotius specialisation course in Corporate Litigation cum laude in 2022.

  • a shareholder of a German real estate company in preliminary relief proceedings (kort geding) and an inquiry procedure before the Enterprise Chamber concerning a complex joint venture dispute.
