Planting 1,000 trees with Life Terra

Recently we planted 1,000 trees in Almere Vliegerpark together with Life Terra. The trees we planted will contribute to ecological restoration and become part of an accessible park for the neighbourhood.

Stek aims to lower its carbon emissions where possible. Life Terra’s reforestation project is an initiative to which we have committed ourselves to procure that at least 100% of our remaining carbon emissions (as have been calculated by TheRockGroup last year) will be offset each year. Fortunately, the 1,000 trees we planted this year were a lot more than required to offset our emissions!

Life Terra is a leading European climate action foundation with the mission to enable people to take impactful climate action by planting 500 million trees in Europe, educating future generations and developing tree monitoring technology. It brings together 16 experienced organisations from 8 countries.

We would like to thank Life Terra for this opportunity and for increasing our knowledge about planting trees and climate change. We keep working towards reducing our carbon emissions and hope to plant many more trees with you to compensate the emissions that remain in the coming years!
