Kelly Visser-van der Vooren heads our practice group Restructuring & Insolvency. Kelly has a wealth of experience. During her 11 years at A&O Shearman, she has proven herself a highly skilled and excellent lawyer in the field of (financial) restructuring and financing, with a wide range of experience working for financial institutions, large corporations and private equity houses. Her six years’ in-house experience within the financial restructuring and recovery department at a global financial institution is also a strong asset upon which she has been able to build. Kelly has advised on high profile (international and domestic) cases, implementing a variety of restructuring tools, including the (relatively new) ‘WHOA’ scheme.
