Stek’s Competition Litigation team heeft zojuist een blogpost gepubliceerd op Kluwer Competition waarin zij dieper ingaan op een recente uitspraak van de Rechtbank Amsterdam tegen Google. In deze uitspraak heeft de rechtbank zich bevoegd verklaard om zowel vorderingen tegen Google Nederland B.V. (gevestigd in Amsterdam) als tegen de Amerikaanse entiteiten Alphabet Inc. en Google LLC te behandelen. De blogpost onderzoekt of dit heldere oordeel van de rechtbank kan dienen als leidraad voor andere zaken waarin schadevergoeding wordt gevorderd en er discussie is over de bevoegdheid.
