Stek victorious for distribution system operator Liander in transmission capacity dispute

Stek successfully represented distribution system operator Liander in summary proceedings before the Gelderland District Court against one of its customers.

The customer, a strawberry grower, was causing problems on the electricity grid by using too much transmission capacity. Liander successfully claimed that the customer should limit itself to the contracted transmission capacity of 117 kW sanctioned by periodic penalty payments. The court also ruled that no contracted transmission capacity of 2,000 kW had been agreed. The judgment has been published and can be accessed via this link (in Dutch).
