Stek successful for Liander in civil law procedure regarding the capacity tariff for gas
Stek has successfully represented Liander N.V. (‘Liander’) in a civil law procedure before the Court of Alkmaar regarding the capacity tariff for gas distribution that applies since 2005. A customer of Liander argued that he was not required to pay this tariff based on the arguments that he had not agreed upon the applicability of this tariff and that he did not need or use the majority of the capacity of his gas connection, upon which capacity the tariff is based. The Court of Alkmaar rejected these arguments and sided with Liander.
