Stek elected 'Most Successful New Law Firm in The Netherlands'

On 9 March 2007 Stek was named the most successful new law firm in the Netherlands. The award is presented every two years by KSU Legal Publishers.
From the jury report:
“In this category there is a clear winner: Stek. The firm was founded in 2005 and currently already has twelve lawyers and three vacancies. The firm distinguishes itself through a very personal approach, which is reflected in a low number of associates per partner. The firm focuses on corporate, competition and regulated industries, doing both advisory and contentious work. The firm has very renowned clients such as British American Tobacco, Delta, Orange and Tommy Hilfiger. The success of the firm is perhaps partly due to the fact that the majority of its partners have a large firm background. At Stek they know what is needed to play in the top league and it is an excellent achievement that they do so in a number of practice areas. The firm has sensed very well what clients want and has mixed the advantages of a large firm with those of a small firm. The outcome is a top firm such as Stek.”
