Stek advises Gebr. Heinemann and Casualfood on joint venture Smartseller

Leading travel retailer Gebr Heinemann and travel food specialist Casualfood have partnered to create joint venture Smartseller that will integrate travel retail and food service in one concept. Smartseller will target small and mid-sized airports in Europe with a pilot project set to begin at Münster Osnabrück Airport. Expansion and roll-out at other sites throughout Europe is scheduled for 2021. Stek has advised Heinemann and Casualfood on the merger control procedure before the Dutch Competition Authority.
