We are pleased to announce that Claudia Beele, Malu Dijkstra and Laetitia Kunst – all three members of our Corporate practice group – were appointed counsel at Stek on 1 July 2019.

Claudia represents enterprises, investors and financial institutions in respect of joint ventures, investments and mergers and acquisitions and has a strong focus on the (renewable) energy sector. Claudia has ample experience in a broad range of energy projects and regularly advises on the corporate and contract law aspects of projects in relation to (project) financings. Claudia furthermore heads our German desk. She started her career in the energy projects practice of Stibbe and joined our firm in 2011.

Malu specialises in corporate law with a focus on (inter)national mergers and acquisitions, management buy-outs, management participations and private equity transactions. Before joining Stek in 2017, she worked as a corporate law attorney at Loyens & Loeff for over 10 years. Her extensive expertise includes advising private equity investors, corporates and financial institutions on national and cross border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings and other corporate law issues. Malu also has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, cooperation agreements and general corporate law advice in the healthcare sector and is a member of Stek’s healthcare team.

Laetitia’s practice covers the full range of aviation activities in the national and international aviation market. Laetitia specialises in multi-jurisdictional transactions concerning the lease, acquisition, sale and financing of commercially operated aircraft, business jets and helicopters and has ample experience in the field of aircraft repossessions. Also, she advises clients on aviation related contracts and issues generally. Laetitia represents leasing companies, financiers, commercial operators and owners of business jets and helicopters.
