Leonore is a strategically strong litigator, highly persuasive, with an enormous fighting spirit. She focusses on commercial and corporate dispute resolution. This includes shareholder disputes, (post) M&A disputes, directors’ and shareholders’ liability, compulsory buy out and sell out proceedings, joint venture disputes, finance disputes including duty of care of banks, prospectus liability and disputes relating to commercial contracts in various sectors.

Leonore handles proceedings before the Dutch Courts, including the Courts of Appeal and the Enterprise Chamber. She also has extensive experience in national and international arbitration and mediation. Leonore regularly acts for private equity parties, for parties in the banking and finance sector and for (listed) companies in the oil and gas sector, shipbuilding, technical fabrics, water management, logistics, consumer electronics, food and leisure sector and parties in the retail sector. Leonore worked for Clifford Chance in the Litigation group in Amsterdam as a Counsel for many years and also for some time in the London office of Clifford Chance. She graduated cum laude from Grotius Academy Corporate Litigation. Leonore is a member of the Corporate Litigation Association and a member of the Dutch Association of Procedural law.
